Juniper Berry Oil
This oil is very powerful and is best known for its use as an antiseptic and diuretic. Its antiseptic properties mean it has been used in lotions for wounds that are slow to heal. Its role as a detoxifier means its refreshing and lymphatic stimulating properties help to eliminate toxins from the body. It is therefore useful in the treatment of cellulite. On the skin it is often used for the treatment of acne, oily skin conditions, eczema, dermatitis and seborrhea of the scalp. It has also been used in a number of other conditions including rheumatism, sciatica, dermatitis and as a treatment for neurasthenic neurosis when used as a bath.
