Pine (Highland Scots)
The essential oil of pine has a strong, fresh, resinous aroma and is often used in the treatment of muscular pain as well as in the treatment of colds and sore throats. Pine has a stimulating effect on the circulation, and is sometimes used to relieve the pain of rheumatism and arthritis as well as muscular aches from over exertion.
